C2Learn Academy: Creativity and Games in Education
Bring innovation to your school and promote creativity through games!
Join our summer school in Attica, Greece, on 3 - 8 July 2016.
We are organizing this European teacher training event in collaboration with the Open Discovery Space (ODS) Academy to offer teachers from around Europe the opportunity to explore how our gameful approaches το learning can catalyse innovation in education.
How can we foster creativity in education?
How can we use student-engaging games in this effort?
How can we, as educators, design learning activities to this end?
How can we involve our students as creative agents in this design?
Are you interested in creativity and games in learning? Join us! Together we will be exploring synergies of creativity and digital games in today’s schools, co-designing educational activities together with you, with your own professional context in mind.
Training for teachers and other school education staff
All training activities of the “Creativity and games” course aim to familiarize school educators from various subject areas with concepts and examples of practice related to game-based learning as a vehicle for promoting creativity in education, including creative thinking, in and around schools, in the intersection of formal and informal learning activities (curricular, cross-curricular, extra-curricular). In this way, the training activities aim to inspire participants to become creative practitioners in their professional settings.
Get your professional development funded by Europe!
Your participation in our professional development activities can be funded through the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission, as part of mobility projects for school education staff under Key Action 1 ‘Learning Mobility of Individuals’. If you are interested, your school (not you individually) should apply for this to the National Agency in your country (current deadline: 2nd February 2016!).
We will be happy to help you and your school with your staff mobility projects
We want to offer valuable learning experiences that will bring positive and long-lasting effects on the participants of our training activities, and through them, their schools and wider educational systems. Acting as a ‘receiving organisation’, we are here to support you and your school before, during, and after your training, throughout the preparation, implementation and follow-up stages of your project. Being ourselves an active, innovative school, we know what it takes to run a successful Erasmus+ mobility project in the field of education. Meeting your professional development needs and helping you successfully implement your European Development Plan is equally important to us and you.
Follow your way of professional development,
share the joy of the creative adventure with us!
